Dogs for rehoming: We try to keep our lists up to date, but sometimes you may find that a dog has recently been rehomed. It is also possible that we have information on dogs not yet photographed, so please ring one of our dog team if you think we could help you.
We are now listing the dogs we have for rehoming on a Facebook page. Search for Heswall Animal Welfare on Facebook. At present, the rehoming of dogs is often taking place within a few days of our being asked to rehome the animal, so you need to act quickly if you are interested, and appreciate that the dog will be rehomed to the owner we consider to be most suited to the dog, when we have considered the background information regarding your home, family and other relevant factors.
We seldom have any very young puppies, or young pedigree dogs. Most of our animals will be Crossbreeds, in age ranging from six months to more than ten years, and generally in the medium or small/medium size range. If the animal has any known health problems, we will usually agree to pay ongoing veterinary costs for the particular condition, but Pet Insurance is recommended whenever possible
