Why not leave a legacy?

Legacies

Legacies are a very effective way of supporting Heswall Animal Welfare so that we can continue helping rehome cats and dogs. We are not a profit making organisation since Heswall Animal Welfare is staffed entirely by volunteers who give their time for free in order to look after and rehome both cats and dogs.

If you are thinking of leaving a legacy, we advise that the executors visit the Charity Commission website for the Heswall and District Animal Welfare Society details as these can change over time. Our Charity Number is 501656.

Bequests

Perhaps the most straightforward option is to make a bequest in your will. Whether you have vast assets or have only a few possessions, a will prevents legal complications and delays. It directs your personal representative to deal with your estate as you wish.

Another important aspect of a will is that it allows you to provide for the animals you care about after your death. Whether this means your own animals or those at Heswall Animal Welfare, your will can continue a legacy of kindness.

If you decide to support Heswall Animal Welfare through your will, you can:

Our expenditure is always more than our normal income so the only way we can keep the Society going is with legacies and bequests.
